We accept all major credit/debit cards and Paypal, both are available at the checkout and you can choose whichever secure payment method you prefer when placing your order.
Returns
We have built our reputation on the quality of our livefood products and services. Unless there is something wrong with the order we do not accept returns however if ever an order is to arrive in anything other than great condition we will always replace it free of charge.
Delivery
Our standard delivery charge is £3.99 for Royal Mail Tracked 24 and orders are dispatched same day if placed before 1PM Mon-Fri to arrive within 2 days of dispatch, this is however subject to Royal Mail and not guaranteed. If there is any reason for a delay such as the breeding cycle meaning that a certain food is shedding or hatching we will contact you straight away to let you know when you can expect your order. Orders sent via Royal Royal mail Tracked 24 generally arrive the following day but can take 2-3 days to arrive.
We also offer additional methods of shipping at the checkout such as recorded delivery, guaranteed next day delivery and international delivery. These options will be displayed at the checkout.
EU and Worldwide delivery

Silkworm Store Returns Policy
At Silkworm Store, we are committed to providing top-quality products and excellent customer service. Please refer to the following policies for live products, hardware goods, and electrical items:
Live Products
If live products arrive in less than acceptable condition, we will replace them free of charge. Please contact us within 24 hours of delivery and provide a photo of the issue so we can arrange a replacement promptly.
Winter Advisory (November to March):
During colder months, we strongly recommend adding a heat pack to all live product orders. Without a heat pack, we cannot guarantee the condition of live products due to low temperatures. If a heat pack is not included during this period, replacements may not be offered for products affected by cold weather.
Hardware Goods
Hardware goods can be returned within 30 days of delivery. Returns are sent at the customer’s expense, and a 5% restocking fee will apply.
If hardware goods arrive damaged, we will replace or refund the item as necessary. Please contact us immediately with evidence of the damage so we can resolve the issue.
Lighting and Electrical Products
Lighting and electrical products that malfunction will be replaced. Each case will be assessed individually, and we will always do our best to assist and support our customers.
