Calci-worms highest calcium levels of any feeder insect low in fat and contains antimicrobial properties. No need to gut load. Calci-Worms have a naturally balanced calcium phosphorus ratio and are the only calcium-rich feeder that can be safely fed as a staple.
Calci-Worms are also a natural weapon against coccidia. In addition to having a perfect balance of calcium and phosphorus, Calci-Worms provide high levels of natural lauric acid. Lauric acid is known for its excellent antimicrobial properties including potent activity against lipid coated viruses, clostridium and pathogenic protozoa including coccidia. Lauric acid is a medium chain saturated fatty acid found in Calci-Worms as well as some vegetable oils and in dairy products. 53% of the fat in Calci-Worms is beneficial lauric acid, a proven antimicrobial especially effective against coccidiosis.
Imrpove Breeding
The Calci-worm is an excellent food for conditioning your pet if you are considering breeding since the calcium content will allow the breeding female to retain and use larger than normal amounts of natural calcium for egg production and keep her in good condition after the labour intensive time of egg laying. You may find your hard to breed pet is more willing to reproduce after eating some of these calcium rich larvae.

We send all livefood via Royal Mail 1st class post.
Your order will be dispatched within 1 working day of receiving payment (Monday-Thursday. However if ordered before 12 noon on these days we will send on the day of order) and you should expect to receive it one or two days after dispatch.
In the very unlikely event that your item is lost or damaged during post, we will always issue either a full refund or replacement.
In some instances silkworms will need 1-2 days before they can be shipped, depending on their shedding cycle. You will be contacted if your order is affected.

Shipping and Delivery
All UK orders are dispatched the same day if placed before 12 noon Mon-Thu and arrive within 2 working days of dispatch; this is however subject to Royal Mail and not guaranteed. If there is any reason for a delay such as the breeding cycle meaning that a certain food is shedding or hatching we will contact you straight away to let you know when you can expect your order.
We also offer additional methods of shipping at the checkout such as recorded delivery, guaranteed next day delivery and international delivery. These options will be displayed at the checkout.
