    We dispatch orders same day if the orders was placed Monday-Thursday and the cut-off point for same day dispatch is 12 noon.

    This may vary depending on what has been ordered, for example some orders for silkworms may be dispatched a day later if they are finishing a shedding (instar) cycle and this will be either noted on the item page or we will contact you via email with an update to this affect.

    When an order is placed successfully you will receive a confirmation email with the full details of your order.

    You can also view the details and status of your order through the ‘my account’ section of our website where all the details of your order and previous orders can be found. Simply login and proceed to ‘my account’ at the top of the page.

    Silkworm eggs take between 7-10 days to hatch. We send full printed instructions with every order including a care guide and further instructions.

    Yes, our silkworms will begin to spin a cocoon in the final instar. When they have spun their cocoon it will take around 2-3 weeks before they emerge as amazing little flightless moths! Please see our full silkworm guide section for full information.

    Cooked/prepared mulberry chow should be stored in the fridge and will remain fresh for 1 month.

    Powdered (uncooked) chow should be stored in a dark, cool place and will remain fresh for 1 year.
